There is good news on the injury front for Tyrone tonight as Teamtalk can exclusively reveal that Joe McMahon doesn’t require surgery. The Omagh St.Endas clubman sustained a groin injury in the opening minutes of last year’s All Ireland quarter final win over Monaghan moments after scoring a point. The injury ended his season and it was believed that he may need further surgery but Tyrone manager Mickey Harte revealed tonight that the two time All Ireland winning defender should be available for selection over the next few weeks.
