News has reached Teamtalk this evening that Ryan McKenna has decided to step away from the Tyrone senior football panel. Ryan made 31 appearances for the senior side since he joined the senior setup and seven of those came in the championship. The decision comes just a few weeks after his brother Emmett also opted out of the senior setup.

Meanwhile Donaghmore man Niall McKenna appears to have had a reoccurrence of the hamstring injury that has kept him out of county football since the start of the year. McKenna was forced to leave the game at half time tonight in Eglish as Donaghmore lost out in the All County League match.
