COUNTY | No Extension for Mickey Harte

There are reports this evening on the BBC website that Tyrone GAA football manager has had his request for an extension to his current deal turned down by the county committee.

According to that report “Tyrone officials did not agree to his request” (for an extra two years) to the current deal which has him in charge of the senior football team until the end of the 2017 season.  His position will be reviewed at that point.

During his 13 years in charge of the senior footballers they have won 19 trophies.
