Cumann na mbunscol Provincial Handball Finals.

Handball continues to grow in popularity and this is further reflected in that it now features prominently in many primary schools within the county. This year’s competition has now moved onto the provincial stage with the Ulster Finals due to take place in St. Paul’s Belfast on March 19th. Tyrone’s representatives competing in those finals are Darragh Curran in Under 11 Singles, Lorcan Mc Bride/Cormac Munroe Under 11 Doubles, Ronan Mc Guinness Under 13 Singles and Ciaran Cuddy/Darragh Loughran Under 13 Doubles.
The boys have all worked hard to make it this far in the series and hopefully they will do themselves, their schools and their clubs proud with their performances in Belfast next week. Of course several of these boys will also be competing this weekend in Kingscourt so it looks like being a very busy time for them all.
