Former Tyrone star Adrian Cush will experience senior management for the first time next season when he takes over the reigns of his home club Donaghmore.

Cush guided Donaghmore to the grade two minor double in 2009 and now he will have the chance to try and bring glory to the St.Patricks at senior level. The left footed attacker enjoyed a glittering county career that saw him win Ulster medals at minor [1988], U21 [1990,1991] and senior level [1995, 1996] as well as All Ireland U21 honours in 1991. Ironically he takes over from another Tyrone great Eugene McKenna who was Adrian’s manager when he won his two Ulster senior medals.

Meanwhile it has been reported that Cush’s former Tyrone team mate Chris Lawn will once again be in charge of Cookstown’s fortunes next season. The Moortown clubman guided the Father Rocks to Ulster and All Ireland honours in his debut season and 2011 will be his third year at the helm.
