A goal at the end of the third quarter from defender Ben Hughes proved to be the crucial score as Donaghmore secured victory at home to Coalisland. Ronan Cassidy, Noah Grimes and Conor O’Neill all supplied points for the hosts with Tiernan Quinn top scoring for the Fianna with Sean L Corr and Cormac O’Hagan also on target.
Eglish staged two great revivals to earn a share off the spoils at home to Dungannon as they collected their first point of the campaign. Luke Donnelly got an early goal but points from Paul Donaghy and Dalaigh Jones helped the Clarkes lead by six. Ethan Jordan and Dan Muldoon had Eglish points and Seamus Muldoon got a goal but efforts from Donaghy, Paudie McNulty and James Morgan had the visitors in a strong position until Aaron Daly got a late goal and Jordan the equaliser.
Dromore had the minimum to spare at home to Edendork. The St.Dympnas edged the first half with Peter Teague, Declan McNulty, Conn Kilpatrick and Ben Cullen on target for their respective sides. Niall Morgan and Darren McCurry exchanged second half points with Padie Dillon and McNulty with the hosts just doing enough to hold on.
Carrickmore moved top of the table after a hard earned win at home to Trillick. Once again Danny Fullerton proved to b re their scorer in chief with Ciaran Daly getting a couple and Lorcan McGarrity and Sean Donnelly on target as well. Lee Brennan top scored for the St.Macartans with Dan Donnelly and Rory Brennan on target as well.
Loughmacrory edged towards the safety mark and leave Clonoe still in trouble after they made home advantage count. The twin threat of Eoin McElholm and Ruairi McCullagh were in fine scoring form for the hosts with Shane Dobbs and Cathal Donaghy also on target. Connor McAliskey, Declan McClure and Pascal McClure all supplied points for the Rahillys but their efforts came up just short.
Goals proved crucial as Killyclogher got the better of Pomeroy to improve their prospects of reaching the league semi finals. Dara Hayes gave the winners a perfect start with an early goal with Mickey Rafferty and Gavin Potter also finding the net in the first half. Mark Bradley also featured among their points with Kieran McGeary and Ryan Loughran to the fore in the scoring stakes for the Plunketts with Leo Quinn and Jude Campbell also on target.
Errigal Ciaran produced a storming second half display to comfortably get the better of Galbally away from home. A brilliant Ben McDonnell goal separated the sides at the break with Odhran Robinson, Perter Harte, Ronan Nugent and Liam Rafferty hitting fine points for their respective sides. Conor Donaghy and Marc Lennon registered to close the gap to the minimum on the restart but the Pearses failed to score again as the visitors took over. Padraig McGirr and Ruairi Canavan both scored goals either side of points from McDonnell, Peter Og McCartan and Darragh Canavan.
