Carrickmore moved top of the table and leave Coalisland in trouble following a win at Father Campbell Park. Martin Penrose, Danny Fullerton, Stephen Grogan and Lorcan McGarrity all featured among the points for the visitors while Bailey Leonard got the Fianna goal as well as a few points with Tiernan Quinn and Niall Devlin also on target.
Galbally brought a run of three straight defeats to an end with a derby win away to Donaghmore. Sean Murphy bagged the Pearses goal with Enda McGarrity, Conor Donaghy and Ronan Nugent featuring among their points. Ronan Cassidy got the Donaghmore major with Cormac McCann and Noah Grimes among their point scorers.
Dungannon made it two wins out of two at the revamped O’Neill Park with victory over championship opponents Eglish. The twin threat of Paul Donaghy and Paddy Quinn were in superb form for the Clarkes with seven points each with the former also getting their goal. Dan Muldoon got the Eglish goal with Luke Donnelly, Seamus Muldoon and Emmet McKenna contributing points.
Edendork edged closer to safety thanks to a hard earned win at Loughmacrory. Fiachra Nelis got the only goal of the game for the St.Malachys with Darren McCurry again in superb form with over half of his side’s points. Cathaoir Gallagher, Pauraic Meenagh and Eoin Mullan all contributed points for the St.Theresas.
Ardboe managed to hold off the challenge of Greencastle as just the minimum separated the two sides at Coney Park. Jack Martin got the Rossas goal with Kyle Coney and Shay McGuigan landing 0-5 between them, Cahir McCullagh and Mark Carson among the Greencastle marksmen.
