The competitiveness of Division 1 was there for all to see again on Thursday night as three of the seven games ended all square while two of the three perfect records fell by the wayside.

 

Eglish lead the way at the top of the table as they made it four wins from four with a fine result in Trillick. Luke Donnelly had a few orange flags for the visitors with Seamus Muldoon, Ronan Braley and Ryan Donnelly also on target. Lee Brennan, James Garrity and Daire Gallagher weighed in with all but one of the St.Macartans scores between them.

 

Carrickmore dropped their first point of the campaign when it finished level away to Clonoe. It was a close contest throughout with Mattie McNally getting the goal for the visitors and Tiarnan Loughran, Ryan Donaghy and Tiernan Murray featuring among their points. Danny McNulty and Tommy Taggart got the goals for the Rahillys and they also added points as did Declan McClure and

Eoin Mansell.

 

Killyclogher are one of only three unbeaten sides in the division and joint second in the table after two late goals won the day for them at Edendork. PT Cunningham, Marc Flanagan, Thomas Meenan, Conor Mallon, Stephen Corr and Daire Conway featured among the points for their respective sides before the visitors hit the last 2-2 of the game with Mark Hayes and Meenan getting their goals.

 

Galbally tasted defeat for the first time this season when they were well beaten away to Dromore. Wing back Aidan Colton got the only goal of the game with Adrian McGurren, Paudie Dillon, Niall Sludden and Brian Gallagher all scoring points for the winners. Sean Hughes and Ronan Nugent kicked all ten of the Pearses points between them.

 

It finished level at Dunmoyle between Errigal Ciaran and Loughmacrory. Aodhan Donaghy got the only goal of the game for the County champions with Pauraic Meenagh landing a couple of two pointers and Cathal Donaghy and Cathaoir Gallagher also on target. Shea McDermott top scored for the home side with Padraig McGirr, Michael Mullin and Dan Loughran also featuring among their points.

 

Former Tyrone attacker Ronan O’Neill rescued a precious point for Omagh with a late equaliser against Ardboe at Healy Park. Senan Doyle got both goals for the St.Endas with O’Neill, Conan Grugan and Tomas Haigney supplying points. Eugene Og Teague, Michael O’Neill and David Mulgrew were the goal scorers for the Rossas with Shea McGuigan among their points.

 

Goals proved the difference as Donaghmore won away to Coalisland on a night when Ben Hughes returned to action following a lengthy injury. Noah Grimes got three of Donaghmore’s majors with Tiernan Drayne also raising a green flag while Conor Cush and Peter McKenna were among their points. Cathaoir Quinn, Cormac O’Hagan, Ronan Lowe and Brian Hampsey all registered points for the Fianna.
