Conor O’Neill and Ronan Cassidy were among the points for Donaghmore but Thomas Mullin, Peter Harte, Ruairi Canavan and Tommy Canavan were all on the scoresheet for the winners after the break with McDermott getting his second major of the night.

Carrickmore finished strongly to secure a dramatic win away to Ardboe by the minimum margin. Star of the show for the winners was Lorcan McGarrity whose points haul was in double figures including the late winning scores. Lorcan McBride got the visitors goal in the closing stages of the first half on a night when Tiarnan Loughran and Brian Conway were also on target for them.  Eoghan Devlin, Michael O’Neill and Shea O’Hare got the goals for the Rossas with Shay McGuigan and Conan Devlin among their points.

Galbally are still unbeaten and lead the way at the top of the table but they had to pull out all the stops to beat neighbours Pomeroy at Pearse Park. The Plunketts enjoyed a blistering start to the game as they led by seven at one stage. Frank Burns, Ronan Duffin and Kieran McGeary were among their points with Jude Campbell getting their goal. The Pearses though led at halftime thanks to goals from Mark Donnelly, Darragh Donaghy and Enda McGarrity. McGeary and Ryan McCallan swapped second half points with Liam Rafferty, Daniel Kerr and Donnelly as Galbally prevailed.

Dromore’s new management got off to a winning start with an impressive victory at home to Moortown. Paudie Dillon was in outstanding form for the St.Dympnas with over half their total with Peter Teague, Odhran Rafferty, Andrew McGrath and Niall Sludden all registering as well. Peter Devlin top scored for the Malachys with Rian Smith getting a brace and Liam Lawn scoring their goal.

Trillick’s good form continued with an emphatic win over Derrylaughan at the Loughshore. The St.Macartans laid the foundations for their victory in the first half as they established a 1-11 to 0-3 advantage. Ciaran Daly got that goal with Lee Brennan and James Garrity adding majors in the second half as well with Brennan and Sean O’Donnelly supplying points. Daire Carney top scored for the Kevin Barrys with Danny Ball and Ciaran Quinn also getting their names on the scoresheet.
