Galbally experienced defeat for the first time this season when Dungannon deservedly took the spoils at O’Neill Park. Clarkes sharpshooter Paul Donaghy saw an early penalty well saved by Pearses keeper Ronan McGeary but the hosts still dominated. Donaghy, DalaighJones, Matthew Quinn and defender Oisin Cowan all landed points with the free taking of Conor Donaghy keeping the visitors in the game before a brilliant Ronan Nugent goal trimmed the deficit to three at the break. Mark Donnelly came on at halftime for Galbally and he made an immediate impact with three superb scores cutting the deficit to the minimum. Dungannon though lifted their game with Cowan getting a 4th point, Kevin Barker getting a brace and Donaghy finishing with 0-8 to his name.

Shay McGuigan was in sparking form for Ardboe as they secured a crucial win over Pomeroy at Plunkett Park. The Rossas led 1-9 to 0-2 at the break with McGuigan among the points and Shea O’Hare bagging their goal. Ronan Duffin and Frank Burns scored first half goals for the Plunketts and Duffin and Kieran McGeary added points but McGuigan took his personal haul to 0-9 with Cormac Devin getting three as well as the Loughshore men came out on top.

Dromore came from five points down at Gardrum Park to get the better of a Donaghmore side who were losing for the fourth game in a row. Cormac Drayne, Lorcan Quinn and Ryan Cush were among the points for the visitors who led 0-9 to 0-4 at the break, Paudie Dillon and Brian Gallagher with scores for the St.Dympnas. An early Declan McNulty goal sparked a second half revival for the home side and they kicked on with further points from Dillon and McNulty before the latter capped a fine personal performance with a late goal from the penalty spot to put the issue beyond any doubt.

Carrickmore move joint top of the table after a hard earned win away to Edendork. Former Tyrone star Martin Penrose got the St.Colmcilles goal with Danny Fullerton weighing in with half a dozen points with Ciaran Daly, Cormac Munroe and Ronan Grogan also on target. Darren McCurry scored the St.Malachys goal and he also kicked seven points but it still wasn’t enough despite further scores from Conn and Neil Kilpatrick.

Clonoe made home advantage count at O’Rahilly Park to pick up a precious brace of league points at the expense of visiting Trillick. Darragh McGrath and Ryan Quinn scored 1-2 each for the Rahillys with Shea Coney and Ryan Morrow also getting their names on the scoresheet. Lee Brennan and James Garrity weighed in with a trio of points each for the St.Macartans with Colm Garrity grabbing their goal and defender Daley Tunney also on target.

Errigal Ciaran proved too strong for Omagh at Dunmoyle. Ruairi Canavan top scored for the home side with half a dozen points while Tommy Canavan, Peter Og McCartan and Darragh Canavan all weighed in with a brace each. Jason McAnulla and Connor O’Donnell notched three scores each for the St.Endas with Conan Grugan and Ronan O’Neill their other marksmen on the night.

Killyclogher made the journey to Father Campbell Park and they produced a fine attacking display to emerge convincing winners over Coalisland. First half goals from Marc Flanagan and Tiernan McCann helped lay the foundations for them and they never looked back. Tiernan Quinn, Plunkett Kane and Peter Herron had points for the Fianna with Niall Devlin getting their goal but it was all about Killyclogher with Gavin Potter and Mark Bradley raising white flags in the second period and Caolan O’Hagan putting the icing on the cake with a late goal.

Eglish are still looking for their first point of the campaign and they came desperately closing to getting at share off the spoils at Loughmacrory only to come up short. Ruairi McCullagh, Pauraic Meenagh, Dara Curran and Cathal Donaghy had points for the home side with Luke Donnelly and Matthew McGleenan getting Eglish goals and Ethan Jordan featuring among their points. With a couple of minutes to go the sides were level but points from Donaghy and McCullagh won the day for the St.Theresas.
