D1 Thursday Night Wins For Eglish, Omagh and Killyclogher

There were three games in the Begleys Sports D1 league on Thursday night and they resulted in wins for Eglish, Omagh and Killyclogher. Eglish made home advantage count to beat Edendork 1-13 to 0-9. Seamus Muldoon got the only goal of the game as well as a few points with Luke Donnelly landing a number of scores and Ryan Donnelly also on target. Conor Mallon top scored for the St.Malachys with Patrick McLernon and Daire Conway also on target.

Tommy Taggart and Danny McNulty got goals for Clonoe but it wasn’t enough at Healy Park as Omagh triumphed on a 0-16 to 2-8 scoreline. Ronan O’Neill led the way in the scoring stakes for the St.Endas with Eoin McAnulla, Paddy Bradley and Conan Grugan all registering as well. Conor McAliskey was among the points for the Rahillys as was Taggart.

Killyclogher travelled to Dunmoyle and came away with the spoils against Errigal Ciaran on a 1-12 to 2-6 scoreline. Gavin Potter got the goal for the visitors who had points from Conall McCann, Marc Flanagan and Paddy Corcoran. Michael Quinn and Peter Harte both raised green flags for the home side with Peter Og McCartan and Aodhan Quinn supplying points.
