There were three games played in the Intermediate league on Friday night and they resulted in wins for Cookstown, Moortown and Owen Roes. Oisin McNia got the only goal of the game with Raymond Mulgrew and James McGahan among the points as the Father Rocks accounted for Urney on home soil, Fergal McNulty and Chris Bogle on target for the St.Columbas.
Moortown took the spoils from their trip to Gortacladdy with Conor Heron’s goal proving to be the crucial score. Des Treacy, Philip Lennon, Heron and Tony Quinn were among the points for their respective sides as it finished 1-12 to 0-11.
Owen Roes turned on the style to record a comfortable win at home to bottom of the table Derrytresk. Stephen Harper and Ryan Devine got the goals for the winners with Cathal McShane and Seamus Dooher among their points. Michael Robinson and Johnny Campbell had points for the disappointing visitors.
