As was the case in Division one on Thursday night, two of the three sides who had perfect records from three outings were beaten in Division two to leave Naomh Eoghan leading the way as the only club with a full quota of points and Beragh sitting with two from two.

 

Naomh Eoghan were in fine scoring form at home to Gortin. Eamon McGovern got a late goal to seal victory after Ryan Mayse, Aidan McSorley, Conor Traynor and Conor Langan had all contributed points. Liam Og Mossey and Peter Keenan got the Gortin goals with Sean Og McAleer and Odhran Brolly among their points.

 

Aghaloo are still looking for their first points of the campaign after a narrow defeat at home to Drumquin. Oisin Gormley top scored for the Wolfe Tones with Jake Donnelly and Oisin McMenamin also among their points while Eoin Skelton got their goal. Niall McElroy and Jody McGlone shared the hosts points with Ruairi McGlone scoring their goal.

 

Conor Owens gave a masterclass in the art of score taking as Beragh made it two wins out of two at the expense of Greencastle. Conor finished in double figures with Eoghan Donnelly and Paddy McCann also on target and Cathal Farley getting their goal. John McCullagh got the Greencastle goal with Sean Og Teague top scoring for Greencastle and Joe Warnock and Dan Tuohey also on target.

 

Clogher made home advantage count to collect a good win against Pomeroy. Ryan McCaughey was in fine point scoring form for the Eire Ogs with Sean Bogue also getting a couple while Finbar McCaughey and Marc McConnell raised their green flags. Charlie O’Donnell got the Plunketts goal with Peter McGoldrick, Hugh McNamee and Ryan Loughran featuring among their points.

 

Aghyaran collected their first points of the season as their long trip to Derrylaughan proved worthwhile. Benny Gallen led the way in the scoring stakes for the St.Davogs with both goals as well as a number of points with Dermot McHugh, Ethan McHugh and Eoghan McHugh on target as well. Liam Gervin, Ciaran Quinn, Adam Cushnahan and James Donnelly all featured on the scoresheet for the Kevin Barrys.

 

Killeeshil goals proved key as they accounted for Kildress at Gortacladdy. Cormac Donaghy, Luke Donnelly and Sean Russell all found the net for the visitors with Dillion O’Neill landing a trio of points. Shea Tracey top scored for the Wolfe Tones with his haul including a brace of two pointers while Tiernan McNally, Aidan McAleer and Callum Holland registered as well.

 

Rock made the short trip to Cookstown and came away with the spoils to end the Father Rocks’ perfect start to the campaign. Shea Daly, Aidan McGarrity, Shane Murphy and Peter Loughran were among the points for Rock while Eoin Long got the Cookstown goal and Lorcan McMurray, Niall McMurray and Luke Neeson all scored as well.

 

After winning their opening three games Owen Roes were beaten at home by Moy. Ryan Coleman top scored for the visitors with Declan Conroy, Liam McGeary and Cathaoir Hughes claiming points as well. Cathal McShane top scored for the home side with his haul including a goal from the penalty spot with Adam Coyle and Stephen Kelly also on target.
