Owen Roes made home advantage count against Gortin to stay in title contention. Cathal McShane again led the way in the scoring stakes for the winners with 0-8 to his name with Adam Coyle getting their goal and Peter Kirk and Stephen Kelly also on target. Sean Og McAleer landed 0-7 for the visitors with Lucas McGarvey, Caolan O’Hagan and Ciaran Brolly among their marksmen as well.

 

Kildress broke their points duck when seeing off the challenge of neighbours Rock at Gortacladdy. Caolan McNamee (2) and Corey Holland were the goal scorers for the Wolfe Tones with Shea Tracey and Aidan McAleer featuring among their points. Shane Murphy, Conor McGarrity, Odhran Carroll and Liam Nugent were all on target for Rock.

 

Aghyaran’s good recent form continued when they proved too strong for Pomeroy on home soil. Cormac and Eoghan McHugh got their goals early in the second half with Dermot McHugh and Benny Gallen getting a number of points between them. Marty Coyle found the net for the Plunketts on a night when Frank Burns, Ryan McCallan and Packie Quinn all contributed points.

 

Clogher made the trip to Greencastle and came away with a hard earned victory. Marc McConnell got both goals for the Eire Ogs with Ciaran Bogue, Barry McKenna, Niall McKenna and Ryan McCaughey all featuring among the points. John McCullagh was in superb form for Greencastle with his haul including both goals with Cahir McCullagh, Miceal McCann and Enda McKenna all raising white flags.

 

Cookstown were emphatic winners away to Beragh. Conall Sheehy top scored for the Father Rocks with his haul including a goal with Niall McMurray getting their other major and Eoin Long and Lorcan McMurray both scoring points. Martin Rodgers was in superb scoring form for the Red Knights with Mattie McSorley and James Boyle also getting points and Oran Treacy bagging their goal.

 

Naomh Eoghan’s perfect record continues while Aghaloo are now the only side in Intermediate football without a point to their name following this result. Shea Gallagher, Ryan Mayse, Tiernan Mayse and Piaras McSorley got the winners goals with Darren McAnespie finding the net for the visitors and Conor Mullan, Jamie O’Hara and Harry Loughran on target as well.

 

Moy returned home from their trip to Killeeshil with both league points in the bag. Ryan McAlary and Ryan Coleman got their goals with Liam McGeary and Cathaoir Hughes providing points. Eoin Neill got the Killeeshil goal and they had points from Callum McWilliams, Luke Donnelly and Tomas Hoy.

 

Drumquin picked up an impressive victory from their trip to the Loughshore to play Derrylaughan. Finucane Glackin and Oisin McMenamin raised green flags for the Wolfe Tones with Sean McDonagh and Eoin Skelton among their points. Stephen McGrath got the Kevin Barrys goal with Caoimhin Hughes, James Donnelly and Ciaran Gervin grabbing points.
