Tyrone right half back Davy Harte is eagerly looking forward to tomorrow’s mouth-watering Ulster semi final meeting with Donegal and he acknowledges that the Red Hands will have to be at their best if they are to make it into another decider.

“There is no doubt about it that this is going to be a tough game for us. We all know the way that the year has panned out for Donegal so far. They got the better of us in the League in Omagh in a performance that we certainly would have been disappointed with and then they went on to win it.

They are playing to a system and game plan this year and have been quite impressive and for us to counter act that it’s going to be tough. In their two games in the championship so far the final score lines show that their opponents haven’t been able to stop them. For different periods during those games there was times when the outcome was still in the balance but I think the experience of this past couple of years stood to them particularly in the second half and they no doubt will be happy with how they finished both games.

Jim McGuinness had had great success with their U21 sides over the past couple of years and he seems to have instilled a new belief into them. They all seem to be rowing in behind him and that’s very evident from the games that they have played. From our own point of view I don’t think that you can question the hunger either. To be part of the first Tyrone team to maybe appear in three Ulster senior finals in a row is a huge, huge incentive. That’s the belief in all the players and we will be doing all that we can to make sure that we are in that position.”
