Dean Maguirc Carrickmore are through to the semi finals of the Ulster McDevitt Cup after turning in a superb display to beat last season’s runners up Breiffne College Cavan at Aghadrumsee on Friday afternoon. The newly crowned Tyrone champions led 1-4 to 0-4 at the break with Ciaran Cuddy getting their goal and Sean Kerr and Ciaran Daly contributing points. In the second half the Dean found another gear with Kerr smashing in a brilliant goal and Kevin Corcoran, Daly and Cathaoir Gallagher tagging on points as it finished 2-11 to 1-6. They now play Donegal champions Abbey Vocational School in the semi final.
