Dean Maguirc Into Quarter Final

Dean Maguirc College had another victory hot on the heels of their recent U14 Ulster Title. This time the U18’s secured a 5-14 to 4-7 win over Magherafelt NRC in the Danske Bank O’Doherty Cup at MUSA.

This win sent them through to the last 8 in Ulster with a quarter final date on the horizon in early February. The Dean turned in a solid team performance, with Ryan Gumley, Dara Casey and Conal Grimes catching the eye at the back. Paddy Mc Elhatton put in a solid hour at midfield and three forwards stood out for their contribution to the score board with Cathaoir Gallagher hitting 2-4, Ciaran Cuddy 2-2 and Conor Loughran 1-1.
