Dean Maguirc Carrickmore won the Paddy O’Hara Cup at Ballinascreen on Wednesday afternoon when they turned on the style to defeat Loreto Coleraine on a 7-11 to 0-11 scoreline. It was a superb display of attacking football from the side managed by Enda Kilpatrick, Terry McCann and Conall McCann.

The winners led 2-5 to 0-6 at the break despite playing against the wind with their goals coming from Oran Toal and James Donaghy with Sean Conneely, Lorcan McGarrity and defender Patrick Quinn among the points.

The Derry lads had points from Emmett Morrison, Conn Kilmartin, Pearce McGonigle and Michael McKeown but they were always playing second fiddle to a well drilled Dean side. Donaghy and Toal grabbed a second goal, Zak Devine got one and full forward Lorcan McGarrity weighed in with a brace as well as they won the game in style.
