Dean Maguirc Are Ulster Champions

Dean Maguirc Carrickmore are Ulster champions for the third time in their history following a richly deserved 1-8 to 0-5 victory over Scoil Mhuire Buncranna in the Danske Bank Gerry Brown Cup Final at Sigerson Park on Tuesday afternoon.
The winners got off to a great start when points from Lorcan McGarrity and Micheal McCann were followed by a Cahir McAnespie goal. The Donegal lads hit back with points from Jamie McDaid and Caolan McColgan but efforts from Oisin McGurk and James Donaghy saw the winners great the short whistle 1-4 to 0-3 in front.
The Dean picked up where they left off on the restart with four points in a row from Patrick Quinn, Oran Toal (2) and McGarrity and while Scoil Mhuire had the final say with a McColgan brace the celebrations had already begun.
