Dean Maguirc, Carrickmore lifted the Tyrone Post Primary Schools U14 Title at Plunkett Park in Pomeroy on Thursday afternoon when they turned on the style to comfortably get the better of Sacred Heart, Omagh.
It was a superb performance from the winners throughout in a game where they were always in control. Centre half back Miceall McCann was outstanding for the winners in what was a good all round team display. Tiarnan McGarrity [2-0], Oisin McCann [1-2], Sean Conneely [1-2], Pearse Dobbs [4], Barney Corcoran [1-0], Shea McElhatton [1-0], Stephen Grogan [3], Mickey McCallan, Jarlath Slane and Diarmuid Gallagher were their scorers as it finished 6-14 to 3-4. Shay Gallagher, Matthew Houston and Alex McElhatton were the Sacred Heart goal scorers with Sean McDonagh and Mark McGale scoring a brace of points each.
