Holders Omagh CBS advanced tio the quarter finals of this season’s Rannafast Cup when they proved too strong for Tyrone neighbours St.Patricks Academy Dungannon at Healy Park on Monday afternoon. The winners always looked to be in control of things but after leading by three points at halftime they really cut loose after the break to run out convincing 3-19 to 1-10 winners.

Aodhan Corry weighed in with half a dozen points for the winners with Cormc Darcy and Shea McGinn getting a brace each while centre half back Tmas Gallen knocked over a brace of two pointers from frees. Matthew Garrity got their first goal before McGinn and Daniel McGurren both found the net in injury time at the end of the game. Midfielder Matthew Daly hit a brilliant brace of two pointers from play for the Academy with Logan O’Connor driving forward from defence to get their goal while James McParland and Eoin Ferguson both weighed in with two points each.
