Derg Girls Do The Double

Mna na Deirge under sixteens completed a league and championship double with a hard fought but deserved win over their rivals Aghyaran this afternoon at Killyclogher. There was very little between the sides at the break but the Derg girls showed their quality and fighting spirit in the second half to complete the double with a 3-10 to 3-5 win. Scorers for the winners were Aine Mc Grath 2-1, Anna Harper 0-3, Roisin Devlin 1-5 and Caoimhe Brogan 0-1.
