Congratulations and well done to Derrylaughan and Killyman who lifted the Intermediate and
Junior championships in Healy Park on Sunday. Both teams had narrow one point wins over their
opponents but both were deserving winners and along with their championship titles comes
promotion to senior football for Derrylaughan and a return to Intermediate status for Killyman.
Killyman overcame a very determined, though somewhat weakened Stewartstown side in a match
that saw three straight red cards and thirteen yellows. Stewartstown must be hoping now that the
suspensions that will follow these red cards do not end up costing them the league title as they play
the last two games of the season. Two more points will be enough to guarantee promotion and their
next game against Fintona could well see them return to Intermediate football for next year.
