Derrylaughan lifted the grade two U14 league title on Friday night when they won an entertaining final with Cookstown on a 2-17 to 2-8 scoreline at Edendork. Meanwhile the Grade One final between Moortown and Coalisland which was also scheduled to take place this weekend has been “postponed”. At this stage there is no further information as to the cause of the delay or any possible date when the game will take place.

Cahir Moss and Shane Dolan got Aghyaran’s first half goals with Moss adding a second mid way through the second half. Conor Logue and Brian Penrose were among the point scorers for the St. Davogs but Moy were deserving winners in the end.

Meanwhile Killeeshil lifted the Grade Four Under 14 Championship at the second time of asking this morning in Beragh following their 2-5 to 1-1 victory over a gallant Drumquin side and remain on course for the double with their league final scheduled for later this week. Full report to follow.
