Derrytresk Appeal Partly Successful

There was good and bad news from Croke Park last night following Derrytresk’s decision to appeal five of the eight suspensions handed out by the CCC. Centre half forward and goal scorer in the aAl Ireland semi final Joe Mc Kee has had his suspension overturned and will now line out in the final. However while this is an undoubted boost for the team you have to feel great sympathy for those lads who will miss out on this once in a life time chance to play in an all Ireland club final.
Derrytresk also had their 5,000 Euro fine halved on appeal but have been banned from playing outside of Tyrone for five years. The club will be issuing a statement in response to theses decisions later on this evening.
