Development Squad Trials Cancelled/Tyrone Goldmark Workshop

Under 16 development squad trials scheduled for tomorrow have been postponed due to water logged pitches. All Clubs are requested to relay this information onto the lads concerned
U17 development squad trials scheduled for tomorrow have been postponed due to water logged pitches.
The foundation course in Loughmacrory has been rescheduled for Saturday 16th February. A child protection course will be held in Loughmacrory Clubroom’s on Monday 11th February.
Tyrone GoldMark Workshop
Saturday 2nd February
Loreto Convent, Omagh
Ulster GAA, in association with IFA, will host a GoldMark Introductory workshop on Saturday 2nd February at 12:20pm SHARP in Loreto Convent in Omagh. The workshop is directed to young interested volunteers and will last no longer than 40 minutes. A full information pack will be provided at this training, and will mark the start of the GoldMark Programme for the young sports volunteers.
The GoldMark Programme aims to recognise the volunteering efforts of young people in sport and this workshop is run in conjunction with the IFA so soccer clubs will also be in attendance. The GoldMarkScheme is run by Volunteer Now and recognises three levels of volunteering 50 hours, 100 hours and 200 hours – this scheme is recognised by Department of Education and will help your young volunteers on CVs and college applications.
