Another busy day of league activity with Castlederg cruising to victory over Killyman. Corin Mc Connell top scored for the Derg with 2-5 and Eoin Bradley chipped in with 1-5. Killyman hit six in total with three points apiece from Eamon Donnelly and Cathal Mc Gahan. Final score Derg 3-15, Killyman 0-6.
CNG lost out to Urney on a scoreline of 1-16 to 1-10 having trailed at the break 0-9 to 0-6. Dan Houston got the CNG goal with Oran O’Neill hitting 0-4 for his team.
Glenelly are still flying high following their latest outing. They made the long run to Derrytresk and came away with the points following a comprehensive 2-17 to 1-9 win. Among the scorers for the north Tyrone side were Nathan Mc Laughlin, Eoghan Mc Connell and Harley Patton. Odhran Hughes hit 0-5 for the Hill while Rony O’Neill got their only goal. Four players contributed a point apiece ; they were Eoin Mc Nally, Caolan Hamill, Cathal O’Neill and Caolan Corr.
Drumragh got the better of Strabane Sigersons in a contest that finished 2-14 to 2-12 for the Sars. Ronan Maguire top scored for the visitors with 1-3 while Aaron Montgomery was not too far behind him on 1-2. Niall Mc Carney helped his side to another win with 0-3.
Brocagh and Brackaville have both made a good start to the season. They met on Sunday and the near neighbours were expected to serve up a decent and high scoring game. As it turned out Brocagh won narrowly on a scoreline of 1-19 to 2-14. Mickey Hughes is back to his scoring best hitting 1-7 while Aidan Dorman chipped in with 0-4. Michael Robinson was another one to get in on the scoring charts with a personal tally of 0-3.
