Fintona got themselves back on the horse again as they saw off the challenge of Derrytresk on Thursday evening. Fintona opened the scoring but by half time the Hill Men led 0-8 to 0-4. Aaron Mc Carney led the line and finished up with 0-8 while Oran Hughes got his team’s goal. Jared Brogan (1), Eugene Colton (0-2), Peter Colton (0-2) and Conor Hegarty 0-1. Odhran Hughes (0-4) top scored for Derrytresk while Sean Slater and Eoin Mc Nally both hit 0-2.

Brocagh came out in top of Errigal 3rds after a high scoring clash with Mickey Hughes once more showing the way. The attacking ace hit 0-13 of his team’s 2-22 while Conan Mc Donald (1-2) and Michael Carolan both hit the net for the Emmetts. Michael Robinson, Aidan Dorman and Cathal Donnelly each scored a brace while Stephen Canavan completed the tally with a single point. Once again Senan Canavan led the line with 2-7 while James Harte got their other goal. Robert Harper (0-2) and Callum Quinn (0-1) rounded off the scoring for the Dunmoyle side.

Tattyreagh remain top of the table after another fine away win this time against a youthful Brackaville side. A strong first half showing saw the Tatts reach the break leading by six 0-9 to 0-3. Stevie Gervin (1-1), Keelan Mc Donagh (0-4) and Patrick Harley (0-3) led the scoring  as the league leaders recorded an impressive 1-15 to 0-4 win.

CNG hosted Castlederg on Thursday night in a game where the Derg’s ability to find the net made the difference as the men in red and black won 4-10 to 0-11 having scored a goal with their first attack. Derg scorers on the night were Corin Mc Connell (2-2),  Eoin Bradley 2-1, Daire Corry 0-3, Paddy Porter 0-2 and Darren Traynor 0-1. Among the CNG scorers on the night were Oran O’Neill 0-2 and Marc Henry 0-2.

Stewartstown looked to be in fine shape at half time in their clash with Glenelly. The Harps led at the break 0-12 to 0-6 and most present would have expected them to build on their half time lead and claim another win, Obviously some one forgot to tell the Glenelly lads who not only restricted them to two second half points but hit fifteen points of their own to claim the win on a final score of 0-21 to 0-14. Among the scorers for the Plumbridge pads were Harley Patton, Eamon Mc Connell, Nathan Mc Laughlin, Ronan O’Kane  Garrett O’Neill. The Harps scorers were Rian Biggs, Ruairi Dillon, Michael Maguire and Jude Lowe.

Urney had one point to spare over Omagh 3rds winning 1-11 to 0-13. Conor Redstone got the all important goal for the border men while Conor Mc Daid, Ryan Henry and Keith Nelis were among the points. A weakened by numbers Omagh team pushed their opponents the whole way and came very close to a surprise win. Ben Mc Farland top scored with 0-4, while Fionn Mc Cann, Michael Murphy and Sean Bresnahan each hit a brace of points.

Donaghmore and Cookstown 3rds met on Thursday night and after a high scoring and very entertaining game the Fr Rocks emerged winners on a score line of 5-13 to 4-11 having led at half time 3-8 to 0-7. Among the scorers for Cookstown were James Mc Gahan 1-6, Colm Bell 1-0, Aidan Mc Elhatton 1-1, Jake Doris 1-1 and Stephen Devlin 1-1. For the Donaghmore lads Caolan Mulgrew top scored with 0–5 and Declan Mc Gahan got their goal.
