Castlederg are still waiting for their first win of the 2023 season after losing out to Aghaloo on a scoreline of 2-9 to 0-9. The winners led at the break 2-7 to 0-3 with their goals coming from top scorer Jody Mc Glone and Eoin Gildernew. Castlederg were much improved after the break and out scored Aghaloo six points to two during the second half. Ruairi Mc Glone (0-3), and Patryk Kinder (0-2) were also on target for the winners while Adam Traynor (6), Ben Harper, Cian Harper and Matty Mc Menamin accounted for the Derg scores.

Derrytresk versus Drumquin was abandoned after an injury to one of the players required a prolonged period of treatment.

Eskra and Clan na nGael served up a high scoring game before the Emmetts pulled away to win 2-21 to 1-13 having led at the break 2-7 to 0-8 with their first half goals coming from Micky Woods after five minutes and Johnny Hackett with virtually the last kick of the half. The diminutive Woods also contributed six of his team’s twenty one points while Cathal Meegan chipped in with eight. Joe Mc Carroll and added two points while Johny Hackett finished the night with a personal total of 1-3. For CNG Danny Ball top scored with 0-7 while Shea Browne (1-2), Johnny Knox (0-2), Conor Mc Aleer and Joe Ball were all on target.

Drumragh made the long trip to Killyman of Friday night but got back to winning ways after a convincing 3-11 to 1-3 win over their hosts. Ronan Maguire (1-1). Kian Murphy (1-0) and Gareth Mc Grath (1-0) got the all important goals in the second half as the Sarsfields made the most of the conditions. Eoin Montgomery (3), Tommy Murphy (2), and one each for Barry Fitzgerald, Kevin Marron and Martin Taggart completed the Drumragh scoring. On a disappointing night for Killyman Christopher Mc Parland hit the ent while Declan Mc Alinden (2) and Ronan Mc Veigh were among the points.

Fintona sit proudly at the top of the Division 3 table after an impressive second half showing saw off the challenge of Glenelly on a score line 3-12 to 0-8. Garrett O’Neill (3) top scored for the home side while Nathan Mc Laughlin (2), Cormac Mc Bride (2) and Ronan O’Kane completed the Glenelly scoring. After a low scoring first half the Pearses led 1-2 to 0-3 but the second half saw them pull away to win comfortably. Jared Brogan scored their first half goal following a fine finish and points from Odhran Hughes and Niall Murray sent them in at the break two points to the good. Fintona were much improved after the break as points from Conor Mc Goldrick and Liam Maguire plus a Conor Mc Gillion goal gave them the perfect start to the second half. The scores continued to come as Aidan Donnelly and Pauric Kelly also got in on the act before Peter Mc Glinn struck for a superb goal to round off another deserved win for the Pearses.
