The second round of division 3A fixtures took place on Friday night with wins for Derrytresk, Clan na nGael, Omagh 3rds, Tattyreagh and Brackaville.

Brackaville and Donaghmore 3rds served up a high scoring goal fest that saw the home side win 7-19 to 7-8 having led at the break 4-8 to 3-4. With no signs of a bus being parked anywhere near the ground the free scoring continued in the second half before the Roes emerged victorious. Among the goals for Brackaville were Shea Fee, Ronan Mc Hugh, Sean Daly and Enda O’Neill. Credit to the Village lads who made a real fist of it with their goals coming from Aodhan Molloy, Deasun Quinn, Ryan Mullan, Sean Mc Caul and Nathan Toner.

The loughshore hosted another league derby on Friday night with Derrytresk and Brocagh meeting at the Hill. The sides were level at the break Derrytresk 1-3, Brocagh 0-6 and the game remained close throughout a competitive second half before a late Derrytresk goal secured the win for the Hill men. Liam Slater and Cathal O’Neill found the net for the winners while Odhran Hughes and Ultan Mc Kee were among the points. On target for a tidy hard working Brocagh side were Barry Donnelly, Mickey Hughes, Conan Mc Donald and Cathal Donnelly.

Killyman made the long run to north Tyrone to take on Clan na nGael hoping to collect their first points of the season against a side who battled hard last day out to see off Urney. An early first half goal from Robbie Conway put CNG seven clear but Killyman battled hard and hit the crossbar twice in a see saw first half that finished 1-7 to 0-4 for the home side. CNG dominated after the restart and ran out comfortable winners on a final score of 1-21 to 0-8. Robbie Conway, Shea Browne and Dan Houston were among the scores for the winners while Ronan Mc Veigh, Shea Gates, Caomhan Mc Gahan, Enda Mc Gahan, Sean Donnelly and Gary Hamill accounted for the Killyman scoring.

The other games saw wins for Tattyreagh over Errigal 3rds while Omagh 3rds recorded their first win of the season against Urney. More details to follow.

Tattyreagh travelled to Errigal and came away with the win on a score line of Tattyreagh 3-16 Errigal 3rds 4-10 having led at the break 1-8 to 1-4. The final game from 3A saw Omagh St Endas get the better of Urney. Played on the exceptional surface of Healy Park the home team had a spread of scorers with Ciaran Mc Ardle and Antain Mc Ginn top scoring for the home team with 0-3 apiece while Adam Grogan, Ronan Falconer, Ryan Mc Garvey, Tom Donaghy and Cormac Mc Ginn were all among the points.
