Derrytresk welcomed Stewartstown to the hill on Friday night and found the Harps a tough nut to crack. The visitors impressed from the off and reached the halftime whistle in a good position leading 1-8 to 0-4. Among the first half scorers for the visitors were Kyran Robinson , Rian Beggs and Shea O’Neill who also bagged a first half goal. The second half was nip and tuck with Derrytresk well in it. Points from Liam Slater 0-8 and Odhran Hughes 0-6 rattled the Harps but unfortunately for the home side they just came up short losing out by three on a final score of 2-15 to 0-18. Among the second half scorers for Stewartstown were Rian Biggs, Macauley Quinn, Michael  Hughes  and Connor Quinn who hit his team’s second goal.

There was little between Brackaville and Urney at the weekend but the Roes deserve great credit for coming back from six behind at the break to win by one. Urney will be disappointed that they failed to score for the last twenty minutes of the second half and ultimately cost them at least a share of the spoils. Shea Fee hit 0-6 whiles James Gillis, Daire Carberry, Tiernan Ruddy and Ciaran Gervin were also on target.

Tattyreagh enjoyed another high scoring win this time over Donaghmore 3rds on a winning scoreline of 2-24 to 0-3. The Tatts were on top from the off and led at the break by double scores 0-6 to 0-3. The second half saw Tattyreagh maintain the pace and run out convincing winners. Eoghan Mc Grath top scored with 1-7 while Keely Mc Donagh hit 0-9. Joe Cartin hit his customary goal 1-1 while others to get among the scorers were Peadar Mullan 0-2 and Ronan Collins 0-3.

Friday night saw Fintona travel to Glenelly in confident mood following their good start to the league. They were missing Conor Mc Gillion but the return to action of Peter Colton meant they went into this one as favourites. Their first half display was one of measured and controlled possession as they dictated the pace and direction of the game. Glenelly found themselves being dragged all over the place as a vey well drilled Fintona side looked capable of scoring when they wished. A Conor Mc Goldrick goal in the twelfth minute was all that separated the sides at the short whistle.

Glenelly came out for the second half in confident mood as they took the battle to their more illustrious opponents. Peter Colton and Diarmaid Martin did cause the Glenelly defence plenty of bother but both found scoring chances in short supply.

Defensively Glenelly were vastly improved with the fullback line of Mc Cormack, Mc Crory and Coyle in outstanding form. Cormac Mc Bride, Harley Patton, and Nathan Mc Laughlin hit the scores that got the home side back into the contest before a late, late goal from Oscar O’Neill sealed the most unlikeliest of wins.

Final Score: Glenelly 1-11, Fintona 0-10

Augher picked up the points when they defeated Strabane in a hard fought contest. Oran White (1-4), Connor O’Hagan and Oran Mc Grath all hit the net for the Sigersons while Augher hit 1-17 having trailed at the break 2-5 to 1-6. Top scorers for the south Tyrone side were Darragh Kavanagh 0-9, Darragh Donnelly 0-2 and Jarlath Mc Namee finding the net.

Eskra and Drumragh served up a low scoring contest which saw the sides finish 0-9 apiece. Ronan M Guire 0-1,Niall Mc Carney 0-4, Cain Murphy 0-1, Aaron Montgomery 0-1, Frankie Monk 0-1 and Conor Gormley 0-1 got the Drumragh scores while  Aaron Kelly, Finn Kellly, Conor O’Hagan, Eoin Mc Evoy and Joe mc Carroll got the scores that saw the sides take a share of the bounty. The result gives Drumragh their first point of the season.

As expected Castlederg continued on their winning ways against Omagh 3rds. The Derg led at the break 0-14 to 0-1 with Daire Corry 0-5, Corin Mc Connell 0-5, Paddy Lynch 0-2, Paddy Porter 0-1 and Eoghan Bradley 0-1. The second half continued in a similar pattern  with the Derg running out easy winners adding two goals, one each from Paddy Lynch and Blaine Lynch. Omagh scorers on the night were Ben Mc Farland 0-2, Michael Corrigan 0-1 and Ryan Mc Garvey 0-1.
