Strabane moved back level at the top of the division two table after winning 0-14 to 1-9 away to Edendork. Brian McGuckin and Sean Donnelly had points for the St.Malachys with Peter Mallon getting their goal but John McLaughlin and Warner Mullan hit nine points between them for the visitors to secure victory.
Moortown experienced little difficulty in seeing off the challenge of Aghyaran on home soil. Midfielder Peter Devlin, Conor Herron and Tony Quinn were all in fine point scoring form for the Loughshore men with Daniel Quinn and Karl Hagan grabbing their goals. Sean Byrne got the St.Davogs’ major with Michael Anderson landing a few points.
Pomeroy’s title hopes received a setback when they lost at home to Eskra. The Emmetts shaded the first half thanks to points from Aaron Kelly, Peter Hughes and Niall Marlow, Stephen McKenna and Hugh McNamee on the mark for the Plunketts. John Loughran, Hugh Pat McGeary and Justin McCaffery all scored for the hosts in the second half as they took the lead but a late Paul Turbitt goal won the day for the visitors.
Joe Rafferty proved to be the Brackaville hero with an injury time winner as the Roes picked up their first points since the third game of the season at the expense of Kildress. Aidan O’Gara got the Wolfe Tones’ goal with Des Treacy kicking a number of points while Ronan Fox found the net for the winners on a day when Ciaran Gervin, Che O’Donnell and Ciaran Gervin all got their names on the score sheet.
There was a big win for Rock as well as they took the spoils at home to Dungannon. Conor McCreesh bagged an early goal for the hosts with Diarmuid Carroll, Martin McCreesh and Eamon Ward all supplying points. Keifer Morgan top scored for the Clarkes with Barry Logan getting their goal but it came too late in the day to save them.
A Diarmaid McNulty goal helped Gortin beat neighbours Clann na Gael while Derrytresk lost for the first time at home this season despite their leading marksman Joe McKee hitting 1-4 and Dominic McGrath also finding the net. Gareth Devlin and Mickey Mulgrew were the Harps goal scorers with Cathal Devlin and Paul Dillon featuring among their points.
