Clonoe secured their place in the semi finals of the league thanks to a 2-17 to 1-4 win away to Moy. Colm Doris and Danny McNulty got second half goals for the visitors with PJ Lavery, Paul Coney, Stephen McNulty and Declan McClure getting points. Tommy Conlon got the Moy goal with Paul Rouse hitting a couple of points.
Cookstown will meet Carrickmore in a playoff for a place in the top four after the Father Rocks beat Augher by the minimum margin with the help of two James McGahan goals and points from Owen Mulligan and Ryan Pickering. Jamie Donnelly, Finbar McQuaid and Dara Donnelly all scored for the visitors.
Ronan McRory and Mark Kavanagh got the goals as Errigal Ciaran beat Greencastle 2-9 to 0-9 at home. That defeat has consigned the St.Patricks to the relegation playoffs, Mark Carson and Cahir McCullagh with points for them on the day. Donaghmore had earlier put pressure on all the teams around them when they travelled to Ballinamullen and came away with a 2-8 to 1-6 win over Killyclogher. First half goals from Niall Mc Kenna and Matthew Mc Gahan proved crucial as the St Patricks withstood a second half comeback to hold on for the vital win. Veterans Mark (0-2)and Gary Hetherington (0-1) were also on target for the winners as were Philip Donnelly (0-1) and Daniel Toner (0-2).
Ardboe and Omagh finished 0-13 apiece at the Loughshore with Jason McAnulla, Aaron Grugan, Brian McGuigan and Shay McGuigan among the points for their respective sides. It also finished a draw between Eglish and Coalisland at Connolly Park with Plunkett Kane top scoring for the Fianna with 1-4 to his name and Conor McKenna and Sean McKillion getting a number of points for the home side. Derrylaughan didn’t travel to play Dromore. Caolan Daly scored two goals while Mark Donnelly also found the net as Carrickmore secured a narrow win away to Trillick to leave them in a playoff with Cookstown for the last semi final spot. Daire Gallagher, Lee Brennan and Niall Gormley landed a number of points for the St.Macartans who now play Greencastle in a sudden death relegation playoff.
