Ruairi Sludden top scored with 1-6 to his name as Dromore easily accounted for Moortown in an early throw in. Conor O’Neill also found the net for the St.Dympnas with former Tyrone attacker Colm McCullagh notching three points as it finished 2-13 to 0-4. Ryan Kelly and Karl Hagan had points for a St.Malachys side who failed to register in the opening half.
Sean Cavanagh kicked seven points including a free deep into injury time to earn Moy a draw away to Killyclogher. The League leaders looked to be in control with Dermot Carlin getting their goal and Leo Meenan a couple of points but their one hundred percent record came to an end.
A late Ciaran Friel goal proved to be vital as Strabane edged out Donaghmore at Sigerson Park. John Paul Gallagher was the leading marksman for the winners with seven points with Niall McKenna getting half of the St.Patricks’ tally.
Augher picked up their first win of the league campaign with a hard fought success over Cookstown at Father Hackett Park. Daire Kavanagh got the St.Macartans first goal with Rory Cassidy getting the winning major late on. Owen Mulligan was in fine form for the Father Rocks with 0-9 to his name on a day when the hosts finished with twelve men and the visitors with thirteen.
Omagh sent out a warning that they are serious challengers for silverware this season after an emphatic victory at home to Carrickmore. Conor O’Donnell led the way in the scoring stakes for the St.Endas with 2-4 to his name, Jason McAnulla and Ronan O’Neill hit eight points between them on a day when Joe McMahon returned to action. Martin Penrose hit three points for the disappointing visitors.
Conor McKenna weighed in with five points while Gregory Jordan got the only goal of the game as Eglish picked up a good draw away to Ardboe. Kyle Coney and Shay McGuigan got nine points between them for the Rossas with the latter converting a late equaliser.
Coalisland’s high scoring form continued when they comfortably beat Eskra at Father Campbell Park. Stephen McNally, Jason Carberry and Dan Fee were the Fianna goal scorers with Aaron Kelly getting the Emmetts major and Peter Hughes hitting five points.
