There were home wins today for Edendork and Donaghmore over Kildress and Killyclogher respectively. Edendork were three point victors in a high scoring and entertaining game and had to come from two points down at the break. Young Darren Mc Currie again showed his prowess hitting eight points for his side with Brian Mc Guckin, Niall Morgan and Brian Og O’Rourke also among the scorers. Substitute Martin Grimes scored the kildress goal with Phillip Lennon, Des Treacy and Frank Mc Gurk responsible for nine points between them.Final score Edendork 1-15, Kildress 1-12.

Donaghmore’s ability to score goals proved invaluable against  a weakened Killyclogher as they put recent poor form behind them to win by eight. Daniel Toner hit 1-1, Shane Mulgrew got 0-3 and Deasun Quinn 1-3 as the St Patrick’s made home advantage count. Simon O’Neill, James Carlin and Tiernan Mc Cann were among the points for Killyclogher and it was Mc Cann who got his side’s only score of the second half. The home side were 2-5 to 0-7 up at the break and rarely looked troubled after that as they won 2-10 to 0-8.
