Moortown will be playing Intermediate football next season after losing out to Edendork in a must win game for both sides at Ballinderry on Friday night. Darren McCurry top scored for the winners including their first goal with Harry Og Conlon also finding the net. Mark Crozier and Peter Devlin got the Moortown goals but despite a good start to the game they lost out on a 2-11 to 2-7 score line.

Edendork will now have home advantage against Kildress in a sudden death relegation play off, the Wolfe Tones accounting for Dromore 1-15 to 0-5 on Saturday afternoon. Des Treacy, Gabhan Treacy and Frank McGurk all featured among the points for the home side with Ciaran McCoy and Collie McCrory on target for the St.Dypmas, Shane Kelly with the only goal of the game late on.

Coalisland completed the regular league season with their 15th straight win when they proved too strong for Eglish on home soil. Plunkett Kane got their goal with Brian Toner, Paddy Mc Neice and Stephen McNally contributing points as it finished 1-21 to 2-5, Eugene Daly and Martin McCann with the Eglish goals. Clonoe travelled to Carrickmore and came away with a 3-10 to 1-11 victory with Conor McAliskey and Paul Coney [2] getting their goals. Killyclogher completed their season away to Trillick and enjoyed a narrow 1-8 to 0-10 win with Barry McAleer getting their goal and Leo Meenan among the points, Richard Donnelly and Philip McGrade among the St.Macartans’ marksmen.
