History was made at O’Rahilly Park this afternoon when the first ever Tyrone league game was streamed and County champions Clonoe didn’t disappoint with a convincing 3-12 to 0-8 victory over Dromore. Wing half back PJ Lavery top scored for the winners with 2-2 to his name with both of his goals coming from the penalty spot while County colleague Connor McAliskey weighed in with seven points.  Full forward Danny McNulty had set the ball rolling with the first goal, Paddy Montague top scoring for the St.Dympnas with three points with Eoin McCusker and Ruairi Sludden also on target.

 

Defending league champions Carrickmore got off the mark with an emphatic 3-11 to 1-8 success over visiting Augher with Mickey Gallagher, Caolan Daly and Barry Daly getting their goals and Conor Gormley, Mark Donnelly and Paul McAleer featuring among the points. Aidan Cassidy got the Auger goal with Jamie Donnelly and Daire Kavanagh contributing points.

 

Eglish played host to Strabane and they came out on top on a 1-13 to 1-6 scoreline with Gregory Jordan getting their goal and Conor McKenna, Peter McCann and Damian Jordan getting points. John McLaughlin was the Sigersons goal scorer. A first half goal avalanche helped pave the way for an Omagh win at Cookstown. Roan O’Neill and Conor O’Donnell both found the net twice after Conor Meyler had got their first goal. Ruairi Mullan got a Cookstown goal as they improved after the second half with Owen Mulligan and Martin Murray getting points as it finished 5-6 to 0-9.

 

Killyclogher made it two wins out of two when they beat Eskra 2-15 to 0-8 away from home. Leo Meenan and Thomas Flanagan got the goals for the winners with Peter Hughes and Niall Marlow among the points for the Emmetts. Errigal Ciaran are another side with maximum points after two outings when they won 0-16 to 0-13 at the Loughshore. Damian McDermott, Declan Quinn, Bryan Horisk and Sean McKenna were among the points for the winners with Ryan Kelly, Conor Herron and Daniel Kelly getting their names on the scoresheet for the St.Malachys.

 

Moy and Coalisland went head to head in one of the games of the day in the top flight with the sky blues edging the verdict 1-13 to 1-12. Ryan Mellon and Paddy McNeice got he goals for their respective sides with Sean Cavanagh, Karol McQuade, Stephen McNally and Plunkett Kane among the points. Ardboe turned on the style to record a conformable win at home to Donaghmore. Aidan McCluskey got the goal for the visitors with John McConville, Tommy McGuigan and Michael Hagan [2] all finding the net for the Rossas.
