Newly promoted Dungannon began life back in the top flight with a win when they edged the verdict away to neighbours Donaghmore.  Patrick Quinn got the Clarkes goal with Adam Mallon and Declan Treanor among their points, Mark Hetherington with the Donaghmore major with Dan Toner also on target as it finished 1-10 to 1-9.

Coalisland turned on the style to record a comfortable 1-16 to 1-5 victory away to Eglish.  Paddy McNeice got the Fianna goal with Brian and Philip Toner featuring among the points. Ryan McKenna got the Eglish goal with his brother Emmett getting a couple of points.

Clonoe were emphatic 2-14 to 0-5 winners away to newly promoted Greencastle. PJ Lavery bagged both goals for the O’Rahillys with Connor McAliskey, Danny McNulty and Patrick Doris all weighing in with points.

Trillick returned to the top flight with a win when they beat Strabane 2-11 to 1-6 at Donnelly Park.  Sean Kelly and Niall Gormley got the goals for the St.Macartans with Rory McElroy finding the net for the Sigersons.

Ardboe and Errigal Ciaran played out a 1-7 to 0-10 draw at Coney Park.  Brian McGuigan grabbed the only goal of the game with Michael Hagan hitting three points for the Rossas. The Canavan brothers Darren and Tommy registered eight points between them for the visitors.

An early goal paved the way for a 1-12 to 1-7 success for Omagh away to Augher. Jason McAnulla was the player who got it on a night when Conor O’Donnell and Ronan O’Neill featured among the points for the County champions.  Aidan Cassidy got Augher’s goal with Declan Connolly and Martin McElhatton supplying points.

The game between defending league champions Killyclogher and neighbours Carrickmore ended up in a stalemate.
