Clonoe travelled to Dunmoyle in the game of the day in senior football and the O’Rahillys came out on top in a meeting between two sides who were unbeaten. The home side edged the first half with points from Tommy Canavan and Caolan Tierney, Danny McNulty with a Clonoe goal. In the second half Colm Doris and Conor McAliskey exchanged points with Canavan and Ryan Lynch as the visitors came through by the minimum margin 1-11 to 0-13

Derrylaughan lost at home to a new look Dromore team this afternoon.  The County Champions were 0-7 to 0-4 ahead at half time thanks to points from Niall Sludden and Eoin McCusker, while Ciaran Gervin was on the scoresheet for the Kevin Barry’s.  Shea Coney was among the second half point scorers for Derrylaughan but an Eoin McCusker penalty settled the result in favour of Dromore.  Final Score – Derrylaughan 0-10 Dromore 1-9

Omagh recorded their fourth league win of the season with a six point victory over Moortown in Healy Park.  Conor O’Donnell and Barry Tierney were first half goal scorers for St Enda’s while Colum Campbell and Lee Kelly were point scorers for Moortown.   Final Score – Omagh 2-10 Moortown 0-10

Ardboe have still only lost once in Division 1 in 2012 and they were put to the pin of their collar at home to Edendork this afternoon.  The sides were level at the break 0-7 apiece thanks to the point scoring exploits of Michael Hagan and Darren McCurry respectively.  After the break Edendork took the lead through Niall Morgan and Stephen Gervin.  Shea McGuigan was the hero for Ardboe.  First he got the equaliser and then he slotted the winner from a free to secure the two points.  Final Score – Ardboe 0-13 Edendork 0-12

Kildress remain without a point after their return to senior football.  Killyclogher’s Leo Meenan, James Carlin and substitute Mark Bradley all scored four points for the visitors.  Kildress man Philip Lennon scored 1-2 while Des Treacy and Frank McGurk also had points for losers.  Final Score – Kildress 1-8 Killyclogher 0-13

Coalisland remain unbeaten at the top of Division 1 thanks to another impressive win this time over visitors Donaghmore.  Two goals from Paddy McNeice and Gerard Toner eased the Fianna into an early lead.  Late goals from Conor McGinn and Niall McKenna did help the look of the scoreline but Donaghmore never really threatened the outcome of this game.  Final Score – Coalisland 2-14 Donaghmore 2-6

There was to be no home win for Eglish this evening at the opening of the splendid Pairc Chormaic.  Huge credit must go to everyone in Eglish who was associated with the construction of the new facilities.  Carrickmore were always very comfortable throughout the game.  First half goals from Caolan Daly and Mark Donnelly put them in a great position at half time despite a Ciaran Colton goal for Eglish.  Barry Daly came off the bench on the second half to score two points for Carrickmore.  Final Score – Eglish 1-9 Carrickmore 2-11
