The first night of league football saw some fine team displays and some superb individual scoring performances. Coalisland Fianna’s Kevin Corr topped the Division Three charts with 1-6 but could not prevent his side from falling to defeat against Eskra for whom Joe Mc Carroll bagged 0-7. Derrytresk scoring machine Niall Gavin showed the lay off has not affected him as he bagged 1-4 (7) against CNG but it is Brocagh ace Mickey Hughes who takes second spot with a return of 0-8 against neighbours Killyman. Derrytresk’s Ronan O’Neill (2-0) and CNG star Danny Ball (1-3) were both in fine scoring form for their teams as well.
