As the league programme draws to its conclusion several sets of staggered matches have added to the difficulty of maintaining the up to date scoring records for the division. The present figures do not include any scores in matches played this week but these will be added shortly. As it stands the top ten shows some movement with Dungannon’s Paddy Quinn making significant strides upwards and the gap at the top closing significantly. Aghaloo’s Stephen Donnelly has led the way all year but with him failing to find the target last time out both Cathal Nicholas and Niall Gavin are closing fast. The Derrytresk forward seems to have really found his shooting boots and has become the most consistent scorer in all three divisions over the last six fixtures. Could he do enough to pip Stevie Donnelly before the final fixture and become top scorer not only in Division Three but in the county over all?
