Division Three Top Scorers Updated.
Friday 19.08.2011
With most teams in Division Three down to their last league fixture things have become very interesting at the summit of the top scorers table. Aghaloo’s Stephen Donnelly has once more moved clear at the top following a personal haul of a goal and nine points in his club’s latest league game. Interestingly with only sixty minutes of league football left to play he finds himself one point shy of becoming the first player this year across all three divisions to break the magic 100 points barrier. He is currently sitting on ninety nine with his closest rival Cathal Nicholas twelve points in arrears. However Nicholas’ club side Glenelly still have two games left for him to try and reduce the deficit but at this stage it looks unlikely that the Aghaloo ace will be overtaken. The full top ten are listed below.
Stephen Donnelly Aghaloo: 9-72, 99 points
Cathal Nicholas Glenelly: 6-69, 87 points
Niall Gavin Derrytresk: 6-65, 83 points
