Drumquin found the going tough throughout with both of their goals coming from Packie O’Kane. His second goal came from the penalty spot with the last kick of the game. Castlederg bounced back from the disappointment of last weekend’s championship exit with a 3-19 to 0-13 win over Clogher.  The Derg produced a superb first half display and were 1-12 to 0-5 ahead at the break. Mark Corry bagged a goal while Conor Mc Callion, Ronan Devine and Sean Harper all hit points for the winners. Clogher improved considerably after the break but a brace of goals from ace forward Mark Corry ensured that the points went to the men in red and black.

Owen Roes also bounced back from a demoralising championship exit with a 2-11 to 0-10 win away to Aghaloo. The visitors were short several key players and reached the break 0-6 to 0-4 behind. Cathal Mc Shane and Andy Devine were on target for Owen Roes while Ruairi Mc Glone , Brian Mc Kenna and Gary O’Gorman scored for Aghaloo. Wind assisted in the second half Owen Roes bagged early goals from Ricki Devine and Ryan Mc Aleer to put them in a commanding position. Mc Glone and Mc Kenna landed points for the home side but scores from Dooher, Devine and Mc Shane ensured that Owen Roes earned a deserved win.
