Beragh had three points to spare over high flying Brackaville at home winning 1-13 to 1-10. Martin Rodgers hit 0-4 while Ryan O’Keefe got the all important goal. Nathan Grimes (3) and Oisin Donnelly (3) were also among the points for the winners. Brackaville began well with scores from Marty Gervin, Rian Mc Hugh, Shea Fee and Sean Day as well as a goal from Mc Hugh. However the Red Knights were the better side in the second half and their accuracy in front of the posts made all the difference.

Castlederg travelled up to Rock and came away with a narrow 0-13 to 0-12 win. Steafan Gallen and Mark Corry both bagged three points while Paddy Lynch, Conor Harvey, Darren Traynor, Sean Meehan and Sean Harper were all on target for the Derg. For Rock Liam Nugent continues to run up large personal totals hitting 0-7 for his team with Tommy Bloomer, Mark Ward, Aidan Mc Garrity and Diarmuid Carroll getting Rock’s remaining scores.

Fintona had a convincing 2-12 to 0-9 win over Glenelly on Friday night with Aaron Mc Carney hitting five points while Nathan Deane and Jarlath Murphy both found the net for the Pearses. Once again Seamus Harkin top scored for Glenelly with six points while Tim Harney, Colm Hicks and Ronan O’Kane were also on target for their team.

Errigal Thirds recent run of good form continued on Friday night with a very impressive 3-13 to 1-9 win away to Killyman. Pio Mc Dermott carried the main scoring threat for Errigal hitting 1-5 with Caolan Tierney scoring 1-2 and Damien Mc Dermott getting Errigal’s other goal. Enda Mc Gahan continues to show his importance to his team with 1-4 for Killyman while Owen O’Rourke (2), Brian Og O’Rourke (2) and Eamon Donnelly accounted for their other scores.

Drumragh began well against Eskra and at one stage in the second half led 0-9 to 0-5 before the Emmetts got their act together and hit seven unanswered points to win 0-12 to 0-10. Shane Cleary, Eamon Rea, Paul Maguire, Aaron Montgomery, Gareth Starrs and Martin Taggart were among the points for Drumragh. Conor O’Hagan and Joe Mc Carroll bagged eight points between them for Eskra to ensure their good run of form continued.

Newtownstewart enjoyed a comfortable win over neighbours Drumquin on Friday night on a 4-16 to 1-08 score line. Ryan Mayse was in fine scoring form helping himself to 2-7 while Niall Mayse and former county man Kevin Gallagher both landed 1-2. Drumquin, with Frankie Mc Alynn in good form, were well in it until half time but could do little to prevent the Newtownstewart onslaught in the second half.
