Glenelly and Killeeshil served up a high scoring game that finished in a two point win for the hoops 3-19 to 3-17. Pascal Donaghy once again proved his worth to his side with eight points while Tomás Hoy contributed 1-4. Peter Scullion and Mark Monaghan both hit the net for the winners while Michael O’Neill (3) and Ciaran Rafferty (2) were among the points. Killeeshil looked very impressive during the opening half and led at the break 1-10 to 0-8. Ronan O’Kane returned 1-6 for the north Tyrone side while Seamus Harkin and Aodhan Mc Connell both contributed 1-3 to their team’s tally.

Fintona lost by five against Errigal Thirds on Saturday on a final score of 1-16 to 1-11. Mark Mc Glinn netted for the Pearses after four minutes and finished the game with 1-3 while Peter Mc Glinn hit 0- 5 for his team. Errigal led by three at the break 1-8 to 1-5 and added a further eight points after the break. Caolan Tierney top scored with 1-6 for the winners while Aaron Mc Anenly and Pio Mc Dermott shared seven points between them.

Drumragh had to come from behind to defeat CNG 1-12 to 1-9 with Shane Devine’s second half goal proving vital. The Clan were five clear at the break (1-5 to 0-3) and scored the first two points of the second half to extend their lead to seven. Adrian Ball hit the Clan goal while Ryan Mc Gill, Gareth Mc Dermott and Danny Ball shared the points. Tommy Mullin top scored for Drumragh with four points while Shane Cleary and Eamon Mc Cann were also on target.

Eskra met Dregish on Saturday in a rematch of their opening round championship fixture. Three Johnny Hackett goals and majors from Mickey Woods and Joe Mc Carroll helped the Emmetts record a comfortable win. Ryan Gartland, Shane Hackett, Aaron Kelly and Niall Marlowe were among the point scorers for the winners. Pete Mc Crossan and Johnathan Doherty accounted for the Dregish points.

Rock got back to the business of league points with a 3-14 to 0-12 win over Brackaville. Aidan Mc Garrity, Liam Nugent and Paudie Ward hit the net for the champions while Conor Mc Garrity, Shane Murphy, Diarmaid Carroll, Aidan Girvan, Enda Mc Williams and Enda Mallon were among the points. Shea Fee, Dale Mc Sorley, Ronan Mc Hugh, Stiofan Gervin, Conor Stock and Marty Gervin did the scoring for the Owen Roes.

Castlederg enjoyed a comfortable victory over Killyman with Paddy Lynch (2), Ronan Devine, Stefan Gallen and Ben Harper all finding the net. Mark Corry hit seven points for the Derg while Brian Coyle, Caolan Harvey and Padraig Keyes were among the points.

Brocagh and Drumquin served up a high scoring and very entertaining game before the Emmetts edged it 2-11 to 0-16. Mattie Mc Dermott hit eight of his team’s scores while Cormac Rodgers (3), Frankie Mc Alynn and Liam Patterson were also among the points for Drumquin.  Brocagh hit the net twice in the first half with goals from James Mc Kiver and Justin Campbell but it was the points in the second half that sealed the win Mickey Hughes (4), James Mc Kiver(2) and Colm Mc Fall (2) all on target.

Kildress bounced back from their championship loss last week with a high scoring win over Derrytresk. Aaron Connolly, Des Tracey, Mattie Mc Guigan and Pauric Lagan were among the points in the first half as Kildress led 0-11 to 0-8 at the break. Niall Gavin was once more scorer in chief for the Hillmen with 0-11 while Paudie Bell, Cathal O’Neill and Pat Campbell were also on target. Pauric Lagan got the all important goal for the Wolfe Tones in the second half to seal the win while Mattie Mc Guigan (5), Martin Mc Gurk and Des Tracey all hit second half points in their 1-19 to 0-14 win
