Saturday saw three games played in Division Three with wins for Kildress, Drumragh and Brocagh.

There was cause for celebration at Kildress as the Wolfe Tones reserve side lifted the league title having gone through the season undefeated. Vice Chair of the Tyrone County Board Eunan Lindsay made the presentation before the club’s league game with Clann Na nGael on Saturday.

After an impressive opening thirty minutes Kildress led 9-3 at the break with Paul Connolly (3) and Mattie Mc Guigan  (2) leading the scoring in the first half while Joe Ball, Gareth Mc Dermott and Ryan Mc Gill got the Clan points. Kildress extended their lead after the break to 0-12 to 0-4 before goals from Shea Browne (2) and Danny Ball put the Clan ahead. Kildress did regain their composure and a Mattie Mc Guigan penalty ensured the points remained at home.

Brocagh defeated Derrytresk in their derby clash with Niall Gavin hitting all seven of the Derrytresk points. Brocagh were on top from early on and led by four 0-7 to 0-3 at the break. Ciaran Donnelly (4), Mickey Hughes (2), and Colm Mc Fall did the scoring for the Emmetts in that opening half. Both sides hit four points apiece in the second half with the Brocagh scores coming from Ciaran Donnelly, Mickey Hughes and Paddy Canavan.

Saturday could well prove to have been a historic day in Tyrone club football as Drumragh hosted Dregish. It was an emotional day for the players and supporters of the Pearse Ogs. Drumragh finished up comfortable 2-23 to 1-4 winners with their goals coming from Adrian Colton and Ciaran Donaghy. Among the point scorers for the Sarsfields were Aaron Montgomery and Shane Devine who both bagged six points apiece. Also among the points were Shane Cleary, Eamon Mc Cann, Paddy Colgan, Martin Taggart and Cormac Norris. Mark Catterson (1-3) and Johnathan Doherty did the scoring for Dregish.
