Glenelly ran up an impressive tally of scores as they got the better of Killyman 1-21 to 1-9. Seamus Harkin (1-4) and Ronan O’Kane (7) top scored for the north Tyrone side but were outscored by Killyman’s Enda Mc Gahan who hit 1-7 of his team’s 1-9 total. Cathal Nicholas (3), Aodhan Mc Connell (3) and Cathal Sheerin were also among the points for the winners while Damian Mc Nulty and Caomhlin Mc Gahan accounted for the remaining Killyman scores.
Eskra and Killeeshil served up a real end of season thriller before the men in green and white prevailed by the narrowest of margins on a 0-16 to 0-15 score line. The winners led by five points at the break 0-9 to 0-4. Tomas Hoy and Pascal Donaghy shared eight points between them for Killeeshil while Daniel Millar, Michael O’Neill, Ciaran Rafferty, Liam Hughes, Aaron Mc Kenna and Mark Monaghan were also among the points. Once again Joe Mc Carroll top scored for Eskra with six points while Cathal Meegan (4), Johnny Hackett and Mickey Woods were also on target.
