There were several interesting pairings on this afternoon’s All County League Division Three fixture list. Glenelly enjoyed their first win in a while with a 2-11 to 0-10 win over Drumragh. Top scorer Seamus Harkin was responsible for 1-7 of his side’s total while Tony Mc Cormack netted their second goal. Ciaran Kearney, Liam Nicholas, Barry Mc Connell and Joe Mc Cullagh all hit points for the winners.

Killyman got the better of Dregish on a 2-13 to 1-11 score line. Eddie Holland’s goal early in the first half helped put his side into a strong position but it was top scorer Mickey Donnelly who takes most of the credit with a fine personal tally of 0-7. However Dregish did not let them have it all their own way as Aidan O’Kane[2], Niall O’Kane[2], Peter Mc Crossan [2] and Mark Catterson[2] all found the target. Fergus Mc Crossan’s goal meant there was only three between them at the break 1-7 to 1-4 in favour of Killyman.  Ryan Mc Kenna found the net for Killyman in the second half and that score helped see his side maintain their lead and win by five points in the end.

Drumquin lost out at home to Brocagh 1-10 to 2-14. Ryan Mc Callion and Frankie Mc Alynn shared 1-6 between them for the Wolfe Tones but there was little they could do to prevent a well organised and committed Brocagh side  from taking the points.

Castlederg maintained their recent fine form with a 1-15 to 2-8 victory over Tattyreagh. There was very little between the sides throughout  but when Paddy Lynch hit the net early in the second half to put the Derg 1-9 to 1-4 in front they grew in confidence and self belief. However Tattyragh dug deep and hit the net for the second time to leave just a point between the sides. The Derg refused to buckle and points from Paddy Lynch, Mark Corry and Sean Harper put Castlederg 1-14 to 2-7 in front with nine minutes left. Tattyreagh closed the gap with a further point before a Bradley Devine point left three between them with time running out. Tattyreagh had a great chance to level the game with a penalty two minutes before the finish but keeper Chris Catterson made a super stop to ensure the points went to Castlederg. Tattyreagh scorers on a disappointing day for them were James Darcy [1-6], Duncan Hyndman [1-0], Damien Mc Gloin, Sean Gormley and Eoghan Murray 0-1 apiece.

Aghaloo defeated Clogher 1-18 to 2-08 with the foundations of the win laid in the first half. The O’Neills were seven points in front at the break with Tiarnan Donnelly among the points and Neil Henderson bagging their goal. Marc Mc Connell found the net for Clogher while Ciaran Shiels and Paul Tierney were among their point scorers. Aghaloo remained in control throughout with Chris Dynes, Ruairi Mc Glone and Gary O’Gorman scoring nine points between them.
