Urney defeated Brocagh 1-10 to 0-6 with Mickey Hughes (5) and Tiernan O’Neill getting the Brocagh scores. The game swung on a missed Brocagh penalty that would have levelled the game but instead Urney broke down the field and hit the net to put the game beyond the Emmetts. Chris Bogle (5) top scored for Urney while Johnny Lafferty (1-1) , Daryll Maxwell, Danny Lynch, Ryan Henry and Jake Lafferty were all on target for the winners.

Glenelly look to be coming good at just the right time with a very convincing 3-13 to 0-9 win over Killyman. Eamon Donnelly (4) and Adam Roche (2) carried most of the Killyman scoring threat. The score at half time was 1-6 to 0-5 in favour of Glenelly with their goal coming as a result of a defensive mistake in the Killyman rearguard. Eamon Mc Connell (2-1), Ronan O’ Kane (1-3), Conal Mc Cullagh (0-3) and Seamus Harkin (0-2) were all among the scores for the North Tyrone side.

Brackaville and Drumragh played out a high scoring entertaining game that saw the Sarsfields emerge 3-15 to 0-11 winners. Shane Cleary top scored with 2-7 while Aaron Montgomery, Cormac Norris, Barry Fitzgerald and Eamon Rea were also on target. Drumragh led 3-5 to 0-6 at the break and were indebted to goalkeeper James Colgan for his quick reactions between the posts on more than one occasion.  Brackaville hit a bit of a purple patch early in the second half but could not get the goals they needed to really put pressure on Drumragh. Dale Mc Sorley (3), Marty Gervin (2), Sean Day  (1), Rian Mc Hugh (4) and Conor Stock (1) did the scoring for the Roes.

CNG recorded a high scoring 6-5 to 0-9 win over Errigal Thirds. The Clan led 2-4 to 0-3 at the break and never looked troubled at any time during the game. Adrian Ball top scored with 3-0 while Niall Kerlin (2-0), Shea Browne (1-2), Danny Ball (0-2) and Eoghan Dooher (0-1) were all on target for the winners. Chrissy Kelly accounted for four of the Errigal points while Niall Quinn (2), Jody Farrell (2) and Pio Mc Dermott were also on target for the Dunmoyle lads.

Drumquin found Cookstown’s experience and guile a bit too much to break down on Saturday as the Wolfe Tomes fell to defeat on a score line of 1-4 to 2-11.  Drumquin opened up a 1-1 to no score lead inside five minutes with a Cormac Rodgers point and a goal from Padraic Rodgers. Cookstown then hit seven without reply to lead by three at the break and a brace of goals around the second water break ended the game as a contest. Oisin Mc Menamin (2) and Eoin Poyntz were on target for the Tones. Conor Mullen (1-1), Dean Teague (1-1), Matthew Carberry (2), Barry Potter (2) and Danny Mc Elhatton (2) did most of the scoring for the Fr Rocks.

Killeeshil had a point to spare over Eskra on Saturday winning a tight game 0-15 to 2-8. The Emmetts led at the break 2-6 to 0-6 after 1-4 from Joe Mc Carroll, a goal from Shane Hackett and points from Niall Marlowe and and Johnny Hackett. Killeeshil were much improved after the break adding nine points while restricting Eskra to only two Joe Mc Carroll frees. Paschal Donaghy (7), Cormac Donaghy (2) and Mark Mc Gahan (2) were among the points for the winners.
