Drumragh enjoyed a five point win over Dregish defeating the Pearse Ogs 0-12 to 0-7. Marty Taggart top scored for the Sarsfields with 0-4. Gareth Starrs and Shane Cleary hit five points between them while Eoin Mc Gread and Ronan Mc Gale were outstanding for the winners. Drumquin made the long run to Killyman and came away with the two points. Mickey Donnelly hit two goals for the home side but that was not enough to prevent a fired up Wolfe Tones hitting 1-18 with a late Justin Walsh goal sealing the win. Frankie Mc Alynn hit 0-6 for the winners while Jamsie Winters 0-3, Barry Gormley 0-2 and Ryan Mc Callion were among those on  target for Drumquin. League specialists Killeeshil had three points to spare over Tattyreagh following this 0-13 to 1-7 win. The winners were 0-8 to 1-2 up at the break with Shane Mallon, Gary Reilly, Packy Mc Mullan, Kevin Hughes and Rory Mc Cann landing points. Mallon and Reilly continued with the scoring for Killeeshil in the second half while Connor Taggart (1-5) was Tattyreagh’s main scoring threat. Aghaloo bounced back from their opening day defeat to Fintona with very convincing win over Errigal Ciaran 3rds. Cathal Cuddy scored two first half goals as Aghaloo built up an eleven point lead 2-9 to 0-4. The winners continued to dominate and ran out convincing victors on a score of 5-16 to 0-7. Tiernan Donnelly finished with 1-07 to his name while Kevy O’Gorman also had his shooting boots on as he hit four points for the winners. Fintona came out on top in the evening throw in defeating Brocagh 3-17 to 0-10. The home side started well and with former county minor Aaron Mc Carney in fine form established a 1-8 to -3 lead at the break. Mc Carney hit 1-2 of that total while Bernard Cassidy contributed 0-3 to the first half total. The Pearses continued to play on the front foot after the break with Mc Carney once again leading the line with 0-6 while Cillian Mc Cann scored two fine points. Second half goals from debutante Sonny Mc Donogh and Kevin Mc Girr ensured Fintona gave their scoring difference a boost and made it four points from two starts. Castlederg have now won their opening two games of the season for the first time in over twenty years after their 2-13 to 1-10 win over Beragh. Mark Corry hit 0-5 in the first half while Paddy Lynch’s goal helped the Derg reach the break trailing by two 1-8 to 1-6. The home side produced a superb second half with Sean Connolly and John Harvey outstanding for the winners. Caolan Harvey and Brian Coyle also produced fine second half displays as the Derg hit 1-6 without reply in the closing quarter of the game to maintain their fine run of form. Beragh did eventually find their shooting boots late in the game but by that stage the win was already secured. Scorers Mark Corry 0-7, Paddy Lynch 1-0, Brian Coyle 1-2, Cahill Logue 0-1, Aiden Lynch 0-2, Tony Breen 0-1. Loughmacrory made it two wins from two starts following this evening’s clash with Owen Roes. The home side led seven points to four at half time with Owen Roes scores coming from Brendan Boggs, Andy Devine (0-2) and Cathal Mc Shane. The second half was all Loughmacrory and goals from Ronan Ward, Stephen Donaghy, Benny Donaghy and Aaron Kelly put quite a gloss on the score line which finished 4-12 to 0-5. Stephen Harper hit Owen Roes only point of the second half. Newtownstewart began their campaign with a 2-5 to 0-9 win over Clogher.
